Celebrate another big year with the DAI in a fine, surreal style.
Enjoy dinner with your fellow fascinating and distinguished Gala guests, explore a maximalist wonderland of creative and colorful diversions, and hit the dance floor in a surreal evening dreamscape—all at the DAI gala!
Highlights of the evening include:
- Live painting by Moira Villiard—watch her create a surreal artwork inspired by the evening, then bid on the finished piece!
- Custom portraits by David Austin exclusively created for a select number of gala guests
- Colorful, customized hand-painted bookmarks by Linnaea Borealis Rose & Mollie Maxine
- Immersive photography environment by Cherry Koch to capture all of the surreal moments of the night
- Silent auction featuring original artwork, adventures, and unique treasures
- Cocktails, dinner, dancing, and more!

Dinner, dancing, and cocktails carry you through an elegant evening. Immerse yourself in artwork with a first look at in-person auction items and artist-led experiences.
2. The Dance Party
8:00pm–10:00pm | $25/ticket
Join the evening crowd for the post-dinner dance party! Enjoy fundraising activities and games, show off your best surreal-formal look, buy a signature drink, and bid on specialty late-night snacks while you dance the night away to DJ Lee Engele.

3. The Dinner and Dance WITH Pre-Dinner Wine Tasting
5:00pm–10:00pm | $150/ticket | Limited availability
The full dinner, dancing, and cocktails experience, **PLUS** a 5:00–6:00 pm Train-car Wine Tasting led by our region’s most sought-after wine expert, Wendy Durrwachter. Explore the world’s most delicate and robust wines paired with light appetizers.
4. The Dinner and Dance WITH Afterparty Train-car Whisky Tasting
5:00pm–10:00pm | $150/ticket | Limited availability
The full dinner, dancing, and cocktails experience, **PLUS** a 9:00–10:00 pm Train-Car Whisky Tasting with the expertise of Mr. Reyelts. Indulge in tasting your way through Scotland while learning about Scotch Whiskey.
5. The Dance Party WITH Afterparty Train-car Whisky Tasting Add-On
