Plein air oil painting is a traditional way to create landscape paintings on-location in nature. This class is ideal for beginner and intermediate plein air painters looking to learn and practice the fundamentals of composition, drawing with paint, mixing natural colors, and creating a compelling representation of an outdoor scene. The class will explore various methods for starting and finishing paintings, different ways to use a palette knife and brushes, and working successfully with a limited color palette.
