Introduction to Tapestry Weaving with Lauren Faherty

Cost: $50 Member ($60 Non-Member)
Learn the fundamentals of tapestry weaving with a frame loom. This class will cover how to warp a loom, create tension, and basic tapestry skills suited towards the beginning weaver. Students explore texture, color, history through various weaving techniques. At the end of the course students will take home their very own completed weaving. Students are in charge of bringing their own frame loom and shuttle stick, but the DAI will provide all other supplies. A supply list including links to purchase items can be found below.
***Proof of vaccination is required to participate in this class. On the first day of class students must present their vaccine card (a copy of it is okay) as well as a form of identification. Masks will be required.
