In this class, Ceramicists Craig Bruce, and Adam Stevenson team up to deliver instruction on the various methods and techniques of flowerpot design, decoration and firing.  With a focus on the tension between form and function, this class explores all aspects of flowerpot production. Demonstrations will cover everything from wedging your clay to glazing techniques. This class will focus on low-fire techniques utilizing low-fire clay, glaze, and slip.  All firings will be electric, and participants will see finished flowerpots each week through the end of class. Come join the Flowerpot Frenzy! Previous wheel-throwing experience required.
