Call for Proposals

Lobby Wall Call for Proposals

The Duluth Art Institute invites proposals from local artists to create a design or mural for the lobby wall of the main Depot entrance.  This is the first point of entry for guests and should be visually engaging and function as a map to the 4th floor art galleries.  The duration of your project can be for the run of an exhibition or for an entire year.  All applicants should visit the space before submitting a proposal.  Proposals will be considered based on merit and feasibility.  A stipend will be provided based on available funding. Incomplete applications will not be considered. DAI will contact you within 30 days, letting you know the status of your application. Please contact DAI Curator, Jason Pearson by email with questions.
